By LordAnubis444 For starters, I believe it should be animated, as I believe that animation is the best medium to adapt the ride in and should definitely have a major lean towards the dark, macabre humor that made the ride so beloved, since pretty much everyone in the mansion is dead, you can get away with a lot of black comedy typically unseen in most Disney flicks. I also have an interesting idea for how it should be animated too. For living humans in the mortal coil, they're animated in 3D computer animation much like the company's recent animated films (Frozen, Moana, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, & Encanto), but the ghosts are animated in 2D traditional animation much like their films from the Disney Renaissance (The Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King & Treasure Planet) to sell the idea that the world the ghosts "live" in is a completely different world than the one that foolish mortals do. It could also be seen as a bit of a meta-commentary on 2-D
